Colorado’s dance community unites for the cause
World renowned indie band The Killers ask in one of their songs, "Are we human, or are we dancers?" Well the Triad Dragons and their affiliates decided to make the point Saturday night that we are both. At their ‘Global Dance for Life' at the Denver Coliseum, hundreds of partygoers came together to help raise funds for humans in Haiti by dancing the night away. Mandatory dress attire required males to dress in blue and females to dress in red, in accordance with Haiti's flag. The dance fest featured a 360 degree stage, in which hundreds of people massed around a giant center stage with multiple DJ's and dancers, all while getting their groove on for a good cause. The evening was all about love, beats and unity.
