Funk the Park
While it wasn't quite Ron Burgandy playing the jazz flute, Funkiphino got the crowd moving for the last installment of the City Park Jazz summer concert series. Several thousand revelers turned out to send off the Denver institution and add an exclamation point to another great weekend in the Mile High City. Though overcast skies had skeptics breaking out the umbrellas, as if on cue, when the band took the stage the sun made an appearance and the barometer inched back to the 90s. A great excuse to bust out the coolers, 'bees and bbqs on a Sunday afternoon, Mondays are going to creep up even quicker without jazz in the park.
