Sports lovers watch The Big Easy bring home the trophy
If you thought Mardi Gras was crazy in the past, just wait for this year’s celebration. With the New Orleans Saints taking winning this year’s Superbowl, the party is looking to be bigger than ever! The Saints won their first ever Super Bowl over Peyton Manning’s Indianapolis Colts in a thriller of a game that ended 31-17. Luckily Denver has a plethora of fantastic bars and lounges to watch the 44th annual championship game, and the hot spot on Sunday was south of Colfax at The Living Room bar and over at Andrew's on Lincoln.
Plenty of fans, smothered in blue and white as well as gold and black were out to cheer on their team to make its place as the champions of the NFL. The Living Room threw an all out party with free food and barbecue as well as drink specials starting well before the game to get fans amped to watch their teams battle it out. The stylish lounge had plenty of comfy seats and a massive screen to watch the game that married the best of both worlds, a comfy living room with wine and beers delivered by the servers.
Andrew's also catered to the masses providing football fans with Budweiser drink specials for the one sports oriented holiday of the year. Flat screens all over the bar made sure fans didn’t miss a moment, as well as pool tables and a rowdy crowd to keep things social. The snowy weather didn’t stop fans from making it out to their favorite bars to watch everybody’s favorite sports event.
