The best commute to work, ever

The weather may be getting cooler in Colorado, but on Friday, Oct. 2, Alice 105.9 is heating up Speer Boulevard with Erica Cobb’s Mile of Men, which features thousands of steamy bachelors standing in the cold just for women commuters to drive by to hoot and holler at.

How the concept of 5,280 feet of men began: After Denver was named a top city for its abundance of single men, Erica of the Alice 105.9 Morning Show “BJ, Howie and Erica,” thought it would be a great idea to flaunt these bachelors to the women of Colorado.

Erica says that her co-hosts, BJ and Howie, aren’t bitter about the event: “I wish I had some juicy gossip from behind the scenes about them [BJ and Howie] being bitter and reluctant, but I don’t.” She feels like the men aren’t all that crabby about it as hundreds of beautiful women get to come and check the guys out, “…so that MAY have something to do with their enthusiasm,” chimes the bubbly morning personality.

Women, listen up: Erica says you will get your full dose of eye candy Friday morning at 7:30 a.m. by going to the Elitch Gardens main parking lot on Speer and Elitch Circle. Each man will hold up a number—if you like what you see, call the hotline and get them noticed!

Are the men really that worth it? Erica admits she wasn’t too sure about Colorado’s huge selection of single men but she says reassuringly, “After getting so many entrants from single, sexy bachelors, YES, ladies, they’re out there…A LOT of them!” And since Metromix has given our male friends a generous helping of women lately, between our lingerie football gallery to our pictures of cheerleaders, it is only fair to let the women of Denver click through to meet 10 of the luscious contenders for Erica’s “Mile of Men."
