The Denver Botanic Gardens opens its doors to the dogs
The majority of the time, mixing gardens with dogs only results in a pile of dead flowers and big trouble for Fido. But in this case, it was quite the opposite. For the annual Botanic Bow Wow the Denver Botanic Gardens opened it doors to our furry friends and their owners for day of dog-centric fun. No digging was allowed, of course, but the poochy party featured everything from informational booths, baths, treat stations, and even contests in several categories.
Vendors at the family-friendly event, among others, ranged from doggie ice cream samples to shelters to even a booth advocating for a cure for canine cancer.
