Devouring A Taste of Colorado 2010
Gin and tonic sounded mighty, mighty good to Coloradans Friday night…not to mention beer, wine, and all the treats one tummy could possibly handle.
Big Bad Voodoo Daddy had thousands of fans swing dancing in Civic Center Park as the band helped kick off the 2010 Taste of Colorado.
The event has marked the end to Colorado’s summer for 26 years and Metromix cameras caught Denverites sipping up every minute of it. Local and national bands performed on one of four stages. At the same time, festival-goers downed drinks, munched on food from dozens of vendors, checked out some awesome art and fashion, and challenged their stomachs on the bungee swings (WARNING: Please do this before you down the beer. You’ll be doing yourself and those under you a favor).
Dave Mason, The Gregg Rolie Band, The Groove Hawgs, and the miracle man himself, Bret Michaels, are also set to take the main stage this weekend along with a slew of local musicians.
So get out to Civic Center Park to eat, drink and get a little crazy. Oh, and make sure you stop by the Metromix booth while you’re out there and pick up a bottle opener or one of our world famous Metromix slap bracelets. That’s right, we’re bringing back the slap and it never felt so good! OUCH!!
