Bellco's march through Lodo gets the green flowing
Denver's St. Patrick's Day parade in 2009 was gigantic, with 10,000 marchers and 210 entries. The route started at 27th and Blake Streets in LoDo and continued west down Blake to 17th Street, north to Wynkoop Street, east to 19th Street, north to Wewata Street and then east to the Coors Field parking lot. Organizers estimate between 210,000 and 250,000 people attended last year's parade. They attribute the numbers, which increased from recent years, to the great weather that Saturday.
