Denver Film Festival gets a "Precious" opening
"Precious," directed by Lee Daniels, was the first screening at the 32nd Annual Starz Denver Film Festival. To commemorate the opening, filmmakers and actors lined the red (blue) carpet just before the highly praised film began. Daniels himself made an appearance, along with producers, Gary and Sarah Magness. Winner of the Rising Star Award, Anna Sophia Robb (Race to Witch Mountain, Jumper) shined bright in a little black dress. The men had a few more shocking fashion choices for the big event. Including, untied shoes, metallic suits, and purple seemed to be the "it" color. Of course though, the night wasn't about the threads. It was about the films. After the gem-of-a-film, "Precious," kicked everything off, we can't wait for what the next two weeks will bring to the big screen.
