Manitou Springs has a competition for the caskets
The 14th Annual Emma Crawford Coffin Race and Festival kicked the bucket, er, kicked off, Oct. 25 in Mantiou Springs.
From the Parade of Hearses and Coffins to the Coffin Races themselves, it was the scariest chase around, but perfect to foreshadow the upcoming Halloween. However, it is not the dirt mattresses that are the most interesting, it is the crowd it attracts.
