Toubab if your Krewe weren't there...
Some would argue that Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra’s greatest legacy was "Don Quixote," but anyone at Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom this New Year’s Eve would counter that the show on this particular evening gave the Spanish poet a run for the title of “greatest work.” Between Toubab Krewe and Panjea anyone in attendance got a taste of something a little different. Sure Widespread Panic might have stolen some of the jam band thunder in Denver to close out 2008, but String Cheese Incident fans both old and new were satisfied to see Kyle Hollingsworth and Michael Kang share their musical passion with the near capacity crowd. If not, the uniquely exotic sound of Toubab Krewe made up the difference.
