The Wildlife Experience hosts GABF familiars at annual brew festival
Located just south of Denver, The Wildlife Experience has distinguished itself by having some of the most interactive and hands on exhibits in the nation, literally. Its new 3-D exhibit is the first of its kind in the country. But the renowned museum has other ways of helping guests get a hands on, mind altering experience — its annual Art and Ale Brew Festival.
With over 50 beer, food and wine vendors, Art and Ale featured several of the big local breweries along with a variety of smaller, neighborhood names. This year, New Belgium, Odell, Wynkoop and Full Sail (out of Oregon) were among the larger brewers pouring, while newcomer and Parker local, Elk Mountain Brewery and Aurora's Dry Dock were a few to name on the smaller side.
Complete with a ball room that housed the epic tunes of 80's cover band Flock of Beagles, a cigar lounge and miniature camp fires scattered throughout the court yard, it was one wild night to remember.
Sorry you missed it? There is always next year, but in the mean time, you can feed your hoppy habit during Denver's Beer Week or The Great American Beer Festival.
