CSU/UNC rivalry rages in Greeley
Butler-Hancock Stadium turned into a shelter for flooding fans on Tuesday night as the undefeated UNC Bears battled their in-state rivals, the Colorado State Rams. Fans overflowed the Greeley home opener with an attendance of 3,192 screaming fans, leaving many people standing the entire game. Body paint, cheers, and signs jolted the Bears senior guard Will Figures to pave the way for UNC with a whopping 18 points in the 70-63 victory over the Rams. The undefeated Bears will start Big Sky Conference play on Friday night against Montana State with a chance to move to an unbelievable 8-0 start to the season--a feat the university has not accomplished since 1901.
