Worth every ounce

If every time a bell rings an angel gets his/her wings, then every time someone drops a—luckily plastic—sampling glass at the Great American Beer Festival they wish they grew wings to fly away and escape the embarrassment. But gentle harassment aside, jaws were just as likely to drop when America’s greatest brewers convened to share their wares with those lucky enough to experience the beer festival to end all beer festivals. This past GABF Oct. 9-11 was arguably the best, statistically the biggest, and with every ounce that was poured it was by far the wildest.
