Not only do they make great company on Colorado hikes and outdoor activities, but let’s be honest, It gets pricey leaving them overnight at doggy daycares. Save that extra wad of dough on milkbones and rawhides and just bring them with you on your next trip.

Plenty of Colorado's best hotels offer doggy and pet accommodations for your best friends! From The Curtis Hotel's Canine Club to The Westin Riverfront Resort in Beaver Creek where they say your friend can 'sit and stay' with them, we have all that information and then some!

The Curtis knows how to pamper your pooch! When you check into the hotel, your furry friend will be given special treatment with their K-9 Club. They’ll get their picture taken with a Polaroid camera and the photo will be prominently placed on a white board in the lobby announcing their arrival. Come on, you've got to admit that's prrrrrr-etty cute! Then The Curtis Hotel offers other special treatments for them, which includes dog walking by a friendly bell staff member, doggy treats and more! The Westin Westminster is conveniently located next to the Westminster Promenades with restaurants, shops, bars and a movie theater right at your disposal. Fine, and Dave & Buster's. Can't forget that. The Westin Westminster is the definition of being 'dog-friendly.' They adopted a chocolate lab named ‘Westy’ two years ago and has officially made her the hotel mascot! Guests can even take little Westy for a walk (with a valid ID) and now you can even buy chocolate lab stuffed animals for $16 to remember your trip to the Westin Westminster. When you make your reservation, tell them you're bringing your best friend along and they'll have a food and water bowl pre-set in your room. Ahhh, that's so sweet.

The Warwick Hotel has a sweet outdoor pool and Randolph's Restaurant located inside. But not only do they give you a comfortable night's sleep for yourself, they're also pet-friendly! Don't think you can bring your burmese mountain dog—their rules are a little more strict than other area hotels. Your pooch has to be under 50 pounds and only one dog per room. The Warwick also charges a $50 cleaning fee for all rooms with a pet. But, bonus: There is a park across the street so they can stretch their little legs. Oh and dogs must be well-behaved. What is this Warwick? A boarding school?

The Golden (retriever) Hotel is so cute when it comes to their pet-friendly amenities! Each of your best friend will receive either a bandana or Frisbee at check-in! They'll also provide water bowls for use during their stay and disposable litter boxes for the feline friends. Also, if you're busy during the day and need someone to eatch them, they'll be happy to arrange day care, overnight kenneling, vet care and more for you. Just tell them your fur friend will be staying with you when you book the reservation.

The Stanley Hotel is kind of strict with their pet rules but we have to include them in the list. For starters, you need Fido’s 6th sense to detect the ghosts who will also be bunking with you during your stay. And secondly, Estes Park will be your pooch’s favorite destination with plenty of hikes and outdoor distractions to keep you all busy. Pets are only allowed to stay in The Stanley Hotel’s Manor House with a $50 nonrefundable pet fee. Also, they have to be under 50 pounds.
