Zip Adventures

People are always compared to monkeys, the whole evolution bit and whatnot, but when you go zip lining in Colorado, dudes, we really are like monkeys. Fine, we’re more like Jane and George of the Jungle.

Zip Adventures is located nearly 15 miles west of Vail at the 4Eagle Ranch. This is a good way to really see the beautiful mountains, cliffs, rocks….trees….the whole potato of wilderness when you go zip lining. You have to do a moderate hike before reaching the canyon and from there, let the team building begin! After all, once you fly in the air going 30 miles per hour hanging from a freakin’ line, you know there will be some group bonding going on. They take reservations for up to 12 people, so maybe play hooky and bring some coworkers along. Zip Adventures does four tours a day, and it only costs $125 per person with safety gear, water and snacks included.

It may not sound like the safest thing in the world (since you're flying through the air on a line), but as Coloradans, we can’t worry about such things. If you are shaking at the thought of dangling on a line, don't worry Zip Adventures says the safety of their guests is their top priority. Phew.
