Be fashion-forward and not financially-backward
With the economy as shaky as it was in 2008, it is hard to imagine splurging on clothes. But with stores such as Violet, located in Larimer Square, on your side, you’ll have cute clothes on your back that will keep your money in the bank.
Violet's owner, Stacy McElhany, declares that unlike other businesses, her store lucked out with the recession since their prices have always been low. That is right, everything in the store is under $100. “Looking for an alternative without spending a lot of money is what Violet is all about,” McElhany says about her snazzy boutique.
There are still a lot of great winter outfits still available in the store as Violet is starting to welcome in the spring. Take a look at some of the items they carry and we’ll tell you where you should show off the new digs.—Erica Boniface, Metromix
