Baseball and Dancing, a perfect October Saturday in LoDo
Remember in 2007, when the Rockies swept the Diamond Backs and went on to the World Series? Of course you do. That's why October holds a special place in many Coloradoans' hearts. The excitement of Rocktober has now become a tradition here in Denver and so around this time of year more purple and black seems to float around the city, and the bars fill up with those hoping for another try in the elite competition in all of baseball. This was apparent on Saturday night if you were able to hit up Sports Column in LoDo. People crammed the bar and grabbed a beer in preparation to root on the Rockies as they took on the L.A. Dodgers in Los Angeles. Although the Rockies lost 5-0, spirits were high and many continued to party. The Tavern was also the place to be, with tons of people getting their dance on after the game!
