Somewhere under the rainbow
This past weekend was full of excitement in Downtown Denver. The community event brought the community together for an event celebrating 'Pride' among the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered in Colorado. Over 250,000 people came out to enjoy the parade, food, music, rally, and much more.
The Pride parade started at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday. The theme of this year was, “Worldwide Pride…Connect the dots.” The colorful parade started at Cheesman Park and stretched all the way downtown. The Pride parade is the most colorful parade you’ll ever see— some of the floats included: JR’s Bar and Grill, Lays potato chips, Baskin Robins, and Project Angel Heart.
Metromix was there to catch it all.
