Out of the box thinking rolls in to Red Rocks
You may picture the Little Rascals with Alfalfa and Spanky racing through the town, and well, your imagination might actually be right on with the Red Bull Soap Box Race. Teams will compete in their own homemade human-powered soapbox carts through Red Rocks for the big time bragging rights Oct. 25. It will be humorous, and scary, at times as they luge down the streets hoping to make Red Bull Soap Box history. Come support local businesses and teams while enjoying the races.
There will be free parking and courtesy shuttles at Bandimere Speedway at the intersection of C470 and Morrison Road, with shuttles running approximately every 10 minutes from the parking lot to the top of the race course.
The pits open at 10 a.m., with first race scheduled around 12 p.m. Award ceremonies are expected to take place around 3:30 p.m.
