40 oz to Freedom does some time in Denver
No band will ever be able to replace the Long Beach rock stars Sublime, and most likely, no band would ever try to. But that doesn't mean we don't have room in our hearts for a little more live taste of their ska/punk/reggae sound. Out of San Diego, 40 oz to Freedom is an energetic and spirited Sublime cover band. On Nov. 7, they made a stop in the Martini Ranch on a night the club also debuted its new "Basement lounge." Just like the real thing, they know how to get a crowd fired up. Throw in the Martini Ranch's lively and enjoyable atmosphere, and you got yourself a party. As you would expect from such an event, lovin' is all this band got. Not to mention the fact that they were giving away Mickey's 40-oz. malt beverages in honor of the fabulous Sublime cover band.
