Morton's pours the love for Darrent Williams
Former Denver Broncos defensive back John Lynch along with Champ Bailey and several other past and present players gathered at Morton’s DTC Sept. 15 to rally awareness for the Denver Broncos Boys & Girls Club, specifically the new addition of the Darrent Williams Memorial Teen Center.
While the vast selection of wine from the Republic National Distributing Company and food from the Mortons’s kitchen kept guests entertained, the conversation of the night was all about Williams and the center.
“It’s great to be here for this, for him,” Lynch said to a group of reporters inside the steakhouse. “It’s important we keep this cause going.”
In addition to all ticket sales from the Morton’s event going towards the center, there was also a silent auction with sports memorabilia from not just the Broncos, but several unique NBA, NHL and MLB items to help benefit the cause.
