Techno DJs keep the party alive on Thursday
This club is not in New York City, even though it looks like it. No, it's not Chicago, Milan, or London either. This is Five Degrees, in the heart of downtown Denver. If you are looking for a club that trancends the borders of this great state and gives the vibe of a club in one of the aformentioned metropolitan hubs, Five Degrees delivers that. A testament to this was on Thursday night when Five Degrees hosted the Sounddrive Syndicate "House Therapy Session 1." This was a legitimate party that was kept alive well through the night, featuring a variety of DJs including Greg Grajek, Brockstar, Ingacio Vega, E-Nebriate, Christian M. and MCDC. These predominately house and electro DJs spun a wicked mix to keep the dance floor packed all night. The posh nightclub and modern lounge was filled with a variety of beautiful people taking in the beats on the dance floor. In addition to the showcase of quality DJs was Company, a clothing design company that was featuring some of its latest and best styles, and also provided live art to maintain the high-end vibe that Five Degrees is known for. The club also offered free wells, wines and drafts until 10 p.m. so that everyone could warm up their dancing legs. Hot people, chilled drinks and a big city vibe made this Thursday night at Five Degrees look like a Friday in NYC.
