Do you think people have a weird viewpoint on this sexy workout? Do they get embarrassed?
Fornberg: Yeah, I mean for me, it was more of a struggle in the beginning to brand it as something that isn’t scary and something more "PC." But, it is what it is…it is pole dancing. It is a hot thing. So yeah, people come in and don’t know what to expect. People at first have the notion that it is a bunch of strippers taking a class in order to do better at their job. I have only had two strippers come through that door; that’s it out of thousands of people who come.
So normal women come here?
Fornberg: Yes, normal women for sure. I think I have done a pretty good job breaking that barrier and I am trying to do that in Denver. I know when I started as well that I would be really nervous in this all-girl environment. I thought it would be catty.
Jealousy?
Fornberg: Exactly! And it is so not that. I make sure that the business is just fun and that everyone has a good time. All of my regulars do a great job at welcoming everyone who is new, so it is definitely just a fun time.
