When did you start Tease Studio?
Fornberg: I opened it in August of 2007.
What was your dream, why did you decide to open a stripper workout studio?
Fornberg: I was a classical ballet dancer my entire life and I lived back east; I was auditioning for New York City Ballet, and Boston Ballet…all the major ballet companies back there. I chose instead to come out to Colorado for college, and when I did that, I chose to stop dancing at that level. I was just looking for a fun dance workout at the time, and that’s how I found this about nine years ago. I started teaching at a couple studios and you know started building my own business by renting space around town to teach a couple students. I just found that there were so many women interested. So it just grew to the point of needing my own space, since I was teaching so many classes.
I opened it to offer a fun workout for women and I have seen how it has empowered so many women, that it is so rewarding. I love it.
What kind of women do you get in here?
Fornberg: The demographic, I would say is between 21 to 60-year-olds.
You have 60-year-old women work out here?
Fornberg: I have 70-year-old women upside down on the poles; it is so funny, and it is awesome. I would say the major part of the demographic is 25 to 40 though.
It lends itself to all shapes, sizes and fitness levels. I have never had anyone not be able to do it.
