Colorado's first microbrewery, Boulder Beer Company was started in 1979 by two enterprising CU professors and has since grown from the original one barrel operation to a 50 barrel power house. First housed in an old goat shed outside of the city, in 1984 Boulder Beer moved to its current location and has never looked back. Makers of the much beloved Hazed and Infused Dry Hopped Ale, their beers continue to win accolades at brew fests across the country and across the world.
