Thousands flock to Civic Center Park for food and music
September 4, 2009
It's a Labor Day tradition here in Denver, and this year's edition of A Taste of Colorado promises to bring as much fun as the past 25 have. From the familiars, such as pizza, burgers, and barbecue, to unique items like berry kabobs, to the bizzare, spicy chocolate bacon ice cream comes to mind, there's something for everyone. And when you need a break form all the tasty treats, wander over to one of the four stages for live music, or check out the karaoke stage and bust out into song yourself. The Main Stage features performances from bands such as Grand Funk Railroad, Cherry Poppin' Daddies, The Spinners, and Foghat. And for a blending of food and music, check out the guys at Golden Toad BBQ.
