People's Fair Day One
June 6, 2009
The first day of the 38th CHUN Capitol Hill People’s Fair kicked off and Denver kicked back. The weather was nice, the people were out, and the grills were cookin’.
The People’s Fair is an annual event that embodies the spirit of Denver’s growth, culture and generosity all while supporting community non-profit organizations.
With over 250 artists displaying their work, games, food, drinks, live music and hands on crafting, CHUN describes its Civic Center Park shindig as “Colorado’s Premier Arts and Crafts Festival.”
There are even games for adults. Check out photos 25- 30 for some gladiator action. These guys bet that the losers of a gladiator match had to get some girly face painting. They followed through, and they weren’t the only ones making a day and taking advantage of the well-rounded fun.
