Hot babes. Water slides. Hot babes. Funnel cakes. And yes,
very hot babes. Who needs South
Beach when we have our
very own MTV Spring Break in our backyard? Fine, 88th and Pecos to be exact. Opening on May 24th, Water
World is the best idea for Memorial Day weekend. We can’t deny the power of
scorching weather and the Lazy
River—1,000 feet of pure
water laziness awaits us, and all we have to do is squeeze into our swimsuits
despite our post-winter munch-athalons.
You and your buds can keep yourselves busy all day with
Water World’s huge selection of rides and pools to dip your hot tootsies in. Take
Thunder Bay as
a prime example: A huge pool with people floating all calmly in their inner
tubes (or the risk-takers going commando without a tube), until a massive wave
erupts and disrupts all that was calm. Before you know it, body parts are
flinging at you, people are trying hard to run away before they get slammed by
the wave and everyone is screaming. It is awesome. Then once the insanity
stops, they do it all over again as if it never happened.
Or try the Space Bowls on for size. You’ll feel like a big,
giant turd getting flushed into a giant pool. You cruise down a slide and then
get spit-out into a bowl and wham, you get flushed. If being a turd doesn’t sound
like a blast, try the Ragin’ Colorado River ride on for size. With a giant
tube, you and your friends can ride down a massive slide, getting tossed back
and forth while you’re laughing at each other bouncing all over the place.
Last but not least, we can’t forget about the legendary
attraction, “Voyage to the Center of the Earth,” the best ride they have. You
feel like you’re in a watered-down version of Jurassic Park.
We don’t want to spoil it for you, but the first 30 seconds of the ride is by
far the best part. Okay, fine—you go down a huge spiral like a freaky version of the boat ride in Willy Wonka. So cool, you're gonna wish there wasn't a damn long line so you can do it again right away.
All in all, if you’re sick of doing the same old, same old
this Memorial Day weekend, you can eat funnel cakes, look at hot babes and
groove on awesome water rides instead. If you purchase a Splash Pass (Water
World season pass), it’s only $90 up until June 15th. After that,
they raise it by 10 buckeroos.
Hot babes and funnel cakes is all we really needed to say,
huh?
