When the news first broke, it almost seemed too good to be true: Could sensitive indie rock icon Ben Gibbard (of Death Cab for Cutie) really be hooking up with actress/chanteuse Zooey Deschanel (of She & Him)? Are we sure the hipster trend-spotters over at Pitchfork didn’t just make it all up?
