As college took a short break and the majority of people had the next day off, the watering holes across town rejoiced in increased business this past Nov. 26, as the day before Thanksgiving has become one of the biggest nights out of the year for the city.
“We are always slammed,” said John Fenstermacher of the Stampede bar in Denver. “We are usually at capacity by 10 p.m. It is traditionally one of our biggest nights of the year.”
Metromix.com visited three of the bigger parties on the big night: Stampede in Aurora, and Martini Ranch and 5 Degrees in Larimer Square.
