In advance of the Great American Beer Festival, Metromix stepped out of its window and beer-less office and swung by the Great Divide Brewing Company to sample some of their newly released brews and get some tips on sampling beer from Tap Room Manager Patrick Langlois. Beer tasting is an art similar to its fancier grape-fermented counterpart and this way, with 1,900 brews available at the Colorado Convention Center, you can at least pretend to play the part of beer connoisseur. —Matt Sandy
