The perfect pint 2010
A Guinness for the books at Nallen’s
Guinness is a grand imbibing staple at any Irish pub, but the thing is, in Ireland they don’t call them “Irish” pubs, simply just the latter. The beer seems to be the thread at many Celtic-branded watering holes in the US– apparently it is enough to claim heritage by plugging the Dublin-bred brew and sporting a wood bar top. However, if you really want to test the authenticity of any Irish pub, it’s not sufficient to just have the brilliant stout on tap; the true measure of legitimacy is how it is poured. Getting the perfect pint is an art; a science; a thing of beauty. It makes sense that Nallen’s would be the benchmark of such a procedure, seeing it is the oldest, truest, and most genuine pub in Denver.
