Werewolves are the new vampires!

In the wake of “Twilight” every studio exec is looking for the next big monster. Enter “The Wolfman,” hitting theaters Feb. 12, starring Benicio Del Toro and Anthony Hopkins in a story about an American man who returns to his family’s U.K. roots, and promptly battles a werewolf.

An update of the 1941 horror classic, all eyes are on the box office: Can werewolves emerge as the hot new commodity of this young decade? Before that question is answered, take a look back at the many different breeds of the movie werewolf.
