A-Basin throws an apres ski party at Tilted Kilt
Ski bums come in from the cold and warm up to the hot wait staff
When people think apres ski parties, they usually think of snobbish Aspenites sipping on champagne by the fireplace, usually adorning terrible sweaters from the '70s, and a droopy saint bernard with the barrel of brandy under his neck. This wasn't one of those parties (duh! We don't cover lame stuff like that!). No, this was apres ski Metromix style! The Tilted Kilt was the host for the evening's events, put on by Arapahoe Basin ski resort in celebration of the SIA (Snowsports Industries America) convention here in Denver. So the smoking hot servers sporting their plaid kilts and a few other small pieces of clothing were also rocking some amazing headbands and beanies from A-Basin. The bar was packed with hordes of ski and snowboard bums and ski industry folks all looking to see how well Denver can party. A-Basin was giving away door prizes every half hour, including A-Basin clothing, lift tickets, season passes and a Budweiser snowboard. The night got rowdy as park rats took shots of Jager from the shot-ski as well as the ice luge, people posed for pictures in the peek-through photo set, and to top it all off the Jagermeister girls were present giving away free shwag as well. Hanging with the ski buddies, good drinks, and hot chicks. All in all, a pretty good night.
