Little known Valentine’s Day facts: Each year the city of Verona, Italy, where “Romeo and Juliet” took place, receives 1,000 valentines addressed to Juliet. More than 8 billion conversation heart candies are made each year – enough to stretch from Valentine, Arizona to Italy 20 times and back again. Kissing reduces tooth decay because the extra saliva created by the pucker cleans your teeth. And Citron New World Bistro, the nearly two-year old restaurant in the Denver Tech Center, has a secret Valentine’s Day menu they’ll be offering the weekend of the 14th.
