Organixx serves up orgasmic food
Organic is so in for 2010

We can blame Richard Simmons for jumpstarting the huge weight loss phase that took over in the 90’s and transferred well in the 2000s. With such diets as the Atkins and South Beach hitting the streets to Jenny Craig commercials thrown in our faces while we watch “Maury” on daytime television, everyone is all about trying to lose weight.
That persona is kicked up a notch when the new year comes around—everyone wants to lose weight as a New Year’s Resolution, yet starving our bodies from delicious carbs and food in general is the wrong way to go about it. Boulder may have a leg up on us in the organic department, but that doesn’t mean the hippie food mentality can’t migrate to the city.
That’s why we’re starting the new decade off right—by trying to eat better. By better we don’t mean starving ourselves from the desserts we crave or only eating salads. We’re talking about taking baby steps with restaurants like Organixx in Larimer Square.
