Sexy costumes warm up 'Spilloween' in Denver
Crazy costumes warm up the dance party at Spill Lounge
If you are a Colorado native, then you remember as a kid your mom making you put on a coat over your Halloween costume to go trick-or-treating, which was always the worst. But now that you’re all grown up, you can rock your Halloween costumes without bundling up, this time with drink in hand ready to dance the night away. And that’s exactly what went down Thursday at one of Denver’s hottest clubs, Spill Lounge. Spill hosted Spilloween, a night of costumes, dancing, beverages and as much pre-Halloween fun as anyone could handle on a weeknight.
The lounge held a costume contest, which is why the costumes on hand were of a different caliber. Some of the best included the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Girls, Prince, Iron Man and Robocop, Jay Cutler (baby style), Stewy from "Family Guy," Lady Gaga, Teen Wolf, and, of course, a couple of guys from that one SNL skit. The winners for the night were Edward Scissor hands taking fourth, Teen Wolf taking third, Iron Man with a close second, and the winner of the night, the robot Bender from the show “Futurama." The winner walked a way with $300 and the top for costumes each received free bottle service the rest of the night. It was definitely a way to warm things up for Halloween!
