The Stone Temple Pilots light up The Fillmore
Little talk, lots of music
October 13, 2009
After virtually 20 years of band history, it's no wonder that the Stone Temple Pilots didn't have much to say in Denver this past Tuesday. There aren't a lot of places they haven't been, and they don't have a whole lot of new material (as of now, but a new album is due out in early 2010). So the STP came, they rocked, and hardly talked. If you can't do fresh, you might as well do your old tracks justice-and the STP did just that. Their classic hits fired up a crowd that was dazzled by the spectacular light show in near perfect unison with the music.
Brace yourself though, as it's just the beginning of what looks to be a stellar winter concert season at The Fillmore Auditorium.
