To paraphrase a model friend of ours, "In TV, one day you're in, and the next day you're out."

So it goes with "Project Runway," the runaway Bravo hit that's recently run away to Lifetime, aka your mom's favorite network.

In fact, the Official Network for Tracey Gold Movies-of-the-Week is hoping you've got three and a half hours of free time this Thursday, when they'll be presenting an entire night of "Runway"-related programming, starting at 8 p.m. ET/PT with "Project Runway: All-Star Challenge," followed by the new season of "Runway" and the, uh, "behind-the-seams" new companion series, "Models of the Runway." (What, no "Army Wives: Project Runway Edition"?)

The buzz: With the new season, everyone's favorite sewing competition is swapping not only networks but coasts as well. And with the new L.A. locale comes a gaggle of west coast celebrity guest judges, beginning in the season opener with Lindsay Lohan. (According to "Project Runway," Lohan's an "Actress/Singer/Fashion Designer," so... that's cool).

The verdict: Look: Heidi's back. Tim is back. Those scary musical stings that let you know when someone's making a fatal design error are back. So apart from the odd commercial for "Not Without My Daughter," this will be the same "Runway" you've grown to love over the past five seasons—only on a network you've gone out of your way to avoid.

Did you know? International versions of "Project Runway" abound! Check out Finland's upcoming variation, "Muodin Huipulle."

Season six of "Project Runway" premieres Thursday, August 20, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
