Religious iconography and the movie world have not always been the most logical fit—Hollywood has a hard time handling subjects that might divide audiences based on their faith. But that doesn’t mean filmmakers aren’t above a little exploration, or exploitation, of the concept of angels and demons.
Ron Howard’s “Da Vinci Code” sequel “Angels & Demons,” opening May 15, doesn’t actually feature any heavenly messengers or fiendish creatures on screen.
