Welcome to the Twitterverse

Maybe you’re one of the more than 1.5 million people already in the Twitter universe. If you’re not, it’s time to join the modern world, people. For those of you who don’t know, Twitter is an online social media where users “tweet” what they’re doing in 140 characters or less. Other members can follow you, and see what you’re up to. You can follow other people, and see what they're up to. It's like legalized stalking, sort of.

But what’s really important about Twitter? Famous people! Celebrities are loving the Twitter, and letting us glimpse into their way more glamorous lives. Sure, most are probably doing it as a sick and twisted form of PR, but at least they seem a little bit more like real human beings.
