In honor of Denver's Great American Beer Festival each year, Oskar Blues Brewery runs a tour/promotion/party bus extravaganza called the Oskar Blues Ordeal. For four days, the Colorado company picks up reporters, beer fans and brewing industry insiders in downtown Denver for a whirlwind tour of their properties in Lyons, Longmont and various other points unknown. Think of it as a holy mission for hop-heads.
And lo, in the year of our Lord 2011, Metromix undertook this sacred pilgrimage. Herein lies the chronicle. (We apologize in advance for any beer stains).
