Irish shenanigans get started in downtown Denver
The Guinness was flowing freely on Friday night, as many Denverites made their way to one of their favorite Irish watering holes. Katie Mullen's, right in the heart of downtown Denver, kicked off the rambunctious shenanigans we like to call St. Patrick's Day.
And the Irish pub was ready for it, too, showcasing a full-fledged Irish band straight from Ireland, as well as some Irish dancing girls who thoroughly entertained the crowd throughout the night. Katie Mullen's is one of the cities quintessential pubs for everything Irish and was definitely geared up for it's busiest time of the year, with an extra amount of green decorations and Guiness shamrocks littering the establishment. Patrons enjoyed access to a couple draft master tables, the tables that have taps built in to them. As one would expect a few car bombs were consumed, and the pints were lifted for a cheers here and there, starting off St. Patty's day just like it should! — Josh Barrett, special to Metromix
