Spandex, beer and bikes

This guy is serious about his biking...are you?!

The Cherry Creek bike path isn’t just the residence to our hobo neighbors, but rather a nice abode for our friendly spandex-wearing drinking buddies as well. The 15-mile bike path extends from Confluence Park all the way to the Cherry Creek Reservoir, and accommodates bikers with many pit stops along the way to rehydrate.

Since bikers work up a sweat, they’ve earned a couple beverages with our friends, Mr. Beer and his wife, Mrs. Martini. Here are some of the bars and restaurants along the way so you can pull onto one of the handy-dandy off ramps that are provided by the fine folks that built the path.

Disclaimer: Riding your bicycle while intoxicated is illegal. Always practice responsible drinking. Just as if you were driving a car, practice the one-drink-an-hour rule to make sure you always stay under the limit. Have one too many? Park your ride and hoof it. This is a walking/crawling path just as much as it is a bike trail.
