Proof that even a short bikini fashion show is still pretty great
Metromix Denver's love for Hooters is beyond question, so we feel like we're allowed to be honest: Thursday night's bikini fashion show at the restaurant's Lakewood location did not measure up to the chain's best Colorado events.
But bikini fashion shows are like sex and pizza — even when they're not so good, they're still pretty good. A full house of rowdy Lakewood dudes turned out to appreciate the handful of models who took to the miniature runway. And while the patio setting was a little rough (thanks to a nasty wind and the unfortunate backdrop of the budget motel across the street), the ladies were as hot as ever.
First they sported their sexiest biker attire, then — of course — it was bikini time. There were also plenty of opportunities to raffle off motorcyle-related prizes and bring fans up front for chicken a wing eating contest. Overall it was a little disjointed, but still a solid way to spend a summer night in Lakewood. — Matt Farley, Metromix
