Hyper Crush and DEV throw the most massive party ever at Suite 200
It is not humanly possible to have listened to Denver radio in the past six months and not have the Far East Movement's “Like a G6” song permanently embedded in your brain for the rest of the day after you hear it. And for those who love that song, and just want to dance party when it’s on, Suite 200 was a dream come true on Friday night.
The electro/dance/pop artist DEV, whose vocals are sampled on “Like A G6,” performed for what might have been the most epic dance party ever held at Denver’s premier party spot on Larimer square. The club was crammed with the hottest faces in town with all of the ladies rocking red dresses as part of Hot 107.1’s “Little Red Dress” Valentines day shenanigans. Los Angeles electric pop crew Hyper Crush started things off, and was welcomed with a deafening reception. The band certainly got the crowd to go insane.
Then the much-anticipated DEV took the stage soon after for an eager crowd. Just like on the radio, she played a mix of songs that pretty much had the “Like a G6” lyrics in nearly every song, which was exactly what everyone wanted. The Suite went nuts, with a crowd that might be hard to ever beat for the club. Cupid was present, and Hot 107.1 was giving prizes, and even hosted a contest for best “little red dress”. The Suite continued on after DEV was done with their weekend dance party, which was a lot crazier after her performance. — Josh Barrett
