The game of pool owes a lot to alcohol. We're convinced that no one plays sober. Come on, even those guys on ESPN2 look a little loopy, and it's not like you see tables at cafes or arcades. They exist solely within the presence of beer. No one has better capitalized on that fact than Greenfield, with their 16 coin-operated pool tables and eternal happy hour (lasting from opening until 7 p.m.). Spend more on the juice and less on the game on Wednesday and Saturday nights when pool is on the house.
