The mayhem at Dew Tour 2008

The AfterDark series elevates the Breck nightlife

When the sun set on Peak 8 the energy shifted to downtown Breckenridge. The AfterDark series presented by Alli Sports (the presiding sports aficionados managing the Dew Tour) took each night and morphed the bar scene into a heated competition of the mountain bar scene. Things kicked off on Dec. 20 with Nathaniel Motte of 3OH!3 spinning a special DJ set at local watering hole favorite Salt Creek; Dec. 21 Savage Henry performed a live set after the longest day of competition at Three20South; and a DJ set by Star Power closed things down at Cecilia’s as the PBRs flowed like the powder on the slopes. After three nights of fierce partying, we finally understood why no major final was held until after 12 p.m.
