Stampede is a brash, punch-drunk novelty, just like the contemporary country music it’s been spinning over the last 16 years. Our street team stopped by, and well, let's just say the place made us yell, "Yee haw!" Urban cowboys may roll their eyes when the DJ drops the latest Top 40 R&B hit, but the club welcomes all, even offering dance classes for the uninitiated. If the two-step and boot scoot boogie-ing isn’t your thing, there’s a serviceable menu of bar food, and there are six different bars throughout to be found throughout the club, in case you just want to make it all go away.

Friday has happy hour from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. with five longnecks for the price of four along with a free fajita buffet. And Saturday is Spanish night for that Latin lover hidden inside all of us. Check it out, and tell 'em Metromix sent ya.
