Local talent gets down at Owsley's
Some might call it urban, others underground, but there is no denying Denver’s fashion scene is on the rise.
Jan. 15 furthered the movement, as The Get Down Fashion Show took over Owsley's Golden Road downtown. With a mixture of fashion, art, and live entertainment; the designs combined hip-hop, rock, and glam to display some of the Mile High’s hottest fashion talent.
"The message I wanted to deliver was that Denver is a hub for amazing up-and-coming designers," said Alicia Dawkins, the shows organizer. "I believe that the talent in the designers featured in last nights show glorified that."
